BCBA‑D Led Caregiver Training for Families of Children & Teens with Autism
What it is
Personalized training led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst‑Doctoral (BCBA‑D).
Designed for parents and guardians who want practical, evidence‑based strategies to manage behavior and teach daily living skills (toileting, self‑care, mealtime routines, transitions, school readiness, safety skills).
Sessions focus on real-life application: we model techniques, coach you in the moment, and tailor plans to your child’s strengths and family routines.
Why it’s different
Doctoral‑level oversight: BCBA‑D brings advanced assessment and treatment planning, ensuring interventions are research‑driven and responsive to complex needs.
Caregiver‑first approach: instead of “therapist does it,” we empower caregivers to be the change agents—so gains generalize across settings and stick for the long haul.
Hands‑on coaching: live coaching (in‑home or via telehealth), video feedback, and practical homework make learning fast and functional.
Focus on compassion, dignity and family values: we prioritize respectful, strength‑based strategies that fit your child’s personality and your household culture.
What you get
Initial intake & functional behavior assessment: thorough review of history, observations, and data collection.
Individualized caregiver training plan: clear goals, step‑by‑step strategies, and measurable targets.
Coaching sessions: live demonstrations and real‑time coaching while you implement—plus troubleshooting.
Progress tracking & data review: regular measurement so we know what’s working and what to tweak.
Support materials: easy‑to‑use guides, visual supports, and video examples for home reference.
Transition plan: strategies to maintain progress across school, community, and future phases.
Length & format
Starter package (recommended): 8 weeks — weekly 60–90 minute sessions with BCBA‑D coaching, plus between‑session support and data reviews.
Intensive package: 12 weeks — twice‑weekly sessions for higher‑need cases or faster skill acquisition.
Maintenance option: monthly check‑ins after initial program to support generalization and troubleshooting.
Delivery: in‑home or via telehealth — flexible to your family’s needs.
